Summary

This study tests whether semaglutide, a drug used for diabetes, can help adults with HIV drink less alcohol and smoke fewer cigarettes. Researchers will also check if it lowers heart disease risk. Two hundred participants will take semaglutide or a placebo for 3 months and provide blood, stool, and saliva samples.
