Can a ginkgo pill boost brain recovery after stroke?

Summary

This study tests whether ginkgo biloba tablets, taken daily for a year, can improve thinking and memory in people aged 55+ who recently had a mild stroke. 400 participants will either receive ginkgo plus standard care or standard care alone. Researchers will measure changes in cognitive tests and track any new strokes or side effects.
