Summary
This study tests whether a ginkgo biloba extract (EGb761) can slow or prevent diabetic retinopathy, a common eye complication of diabetes. Participants will either take the ginkgo supplement or receive standard care for two years, and doctors will track eye health using advanced imaging and other tests.
