NCT ID NCT05570786
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a small hormone pellet placed under the skin to treat pelvic pain caused by endometriosis. The pellet slowly releases gestrinone, a hormone that may reduce pain with fewer side effects than pills. About 100 women aged 18-50 with confirmed deep endometriosis and ongoing pain after surgery took part. The goal was to see if the implant is safe and helps ease pain over 6 months.
