Scientists track hidden health risks of pregnancy diabetes

NCT ID NCT07459907

Summary

This study aims to better understand how gestational diabetes (high blood sugar during pregnancy) affects the health of both mothers and their babies over time. Researchers will follow 400 women diagnosed with this condition, collecting health information and samples during pregnancy, at birth, and after delivery. The goal is to gather detailed information to help identify risks and improve future care, but this study itself does not provide treatment.
