First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a special health check, called a geriatric assessment, for people aged 65 and older who are starting chemotherapy. The check looks at things like frailty and other health problems to create a personalized care plan. The goal is to see if this plan can reduce serious side effects from chemotherapy and improve quality of life. About 70 participants are being randomly assigned to either get the assessment plus usual care or usual care alone.
