Baby reflux study: could a simple diet change beat drugs?

NCT ID NCT06255886

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests two common treatments for reflux in babies under 1 year old: a cow-milk-protein-free diet and the medication omeprazole. Researchers want to see which approach reduces reflux episodes better and with fewer side effects. About 96 infants will participate, and parents will track symptoms daily using an app.
