Flower power: can a simple scent ease Chemo's worst side effect?
NCT ID NCT07292831
Summary
This study tested whether smelling geranium essential oil could help reduce nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Ninety participants were randomly assigned to either inhale the oil or receive no aromatherapy. Researchers measured their nausea levels before and after treatment to see if the natural scent provided relief as a complementary therapy.
