Mapping software could help hospitals stop outbreaks in their tracks

Summary
This study tests a new computer tool that uses maps to help infection preventionists find and stop hospital-acquired infections faster. About 25 infection experts will use the tool and report on how easy it is to use and whether it helps them respond more quickly. The goal is to see if adding location data to infection tracking can improve patient safety.
