Mapping software could help hospitals outsmart superbugs

Summary

This study tests a new computer tool that uses maps to help infection preventionists find and stop the spread of infections in hospitals. About 25 infection experts will use the tool to see if it helps them spot infection clusters faster and better understand how infections spread. The goal is to improve how hospitals respond to outbreaks and keep patients safer.
