Summary
This early-stage trial tested a new drug called gentulizumab in 58 people with advanced acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) that had not responded to other treatments. The drug aims to help the immune system attack cancer cells by blocking a protein called CD47. The study was terminated early, and its main goals were to check safety and find the right dose.
