New vaginal capsule aims to tackle stubborn bacterial vaginosis

Summary
This study tests a new drug called GenSci142, given as a vaginal capsule, for treating bacterial vaginosis (BV). About 30 women with BV will receive either GenSci142 or a standard antibiotic cream to compare safety and how well each works. The goal is to see if the new capsule is a safe and effective option for this common vaginal infection.
