New stent could fix aortic aneurysms without major surgery

Summary
This study is testing a new device called the WeFlow-Tribranch stent graft system to treat aortic arch aneurysms (a bulge in the main artery near the heart). The goal is to repair the artery using a less invasive approach instead of open-heart surgery. About 90 adults aged 18 to 80 with certain types of aortic arch aneurysms or ulcers will take part. Researchers will check how safe and effective the device is over 12 months.
