Soy extract tested to slow memory loss in early Alzheimer's

NCT ID NCT07385937

Summary

This study will test whether a natural compound called genistein, found in soy, can slow down memory and thinking problems in people with early Alzheimer's disease. About 150 participants with mild cognitive impairment will take either the genistein extract or a placebo daily for 18 months. Researchers will measure changes in memory, daily function, and brain scans to see if the treatment helps.
