First seen May 16, 2026 ยท Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how certain genes influence brain inflammation in people with Alzheimer's disease. Researchers use a special PET scan to measure immune cell activity in the brain. The goal is to find new genes that control this inflammation, which could lead to better treatments. About 107 adults aged 50 and older, with or without memory problems, are taking part.
