Summary
This study looks at how certain genes may influence stroke risk in 1,000 Brazilian adults. Half have had a stroke, half have not. Researchers will compare their DNA to find genetic differences that might explain why some people have strokes. This is an observational study, not a treatment trial, and aims to lay the groundwork for personalized medicine in Brazil.
