NCT ID NCT06744595
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This pilot study at Mayo Clinic tests whether personalized education and genetic counseling can increase genetic testing in people who have a first-degree relative with pancreatic cancer. About 40 participants aged 18-75 with a family history but no personal history of the disease will receive tailored information and counseling. The goal is to see if this approach helps more people follow national guidelines for genetic testing, which could lead to earlier detection and better outcomes.
