Summary
This study aims to understand if specific inherited traits make some people more likely to develop pulmonary fibrosis, a serious disease that causes progressive scarring of the lungs. Researchers will collect blood samples from 2,000 adults who have been diagnosed with the condition to look for these genetic patterns. The goal is to learn why the disease develops and why it progresses differently in different people.
