Scientists hunt for genetic clues behind debilitating brain injury fatigue
NCT ID NCT04548180
Summary
This study aimed to understand why some people develop severe fatigue and cognitive problems after a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Researchers analyzed genetic data from 68 patients with TBI and these specific symptoms, comparing it to a large database of medical records. The goal was to find genetic markers that could help identify which patients are most susceptible to this debilitating condition.
