Can your DNA score motivate you to lower your blood pressure?

NCT ID NCT06962488

Summary

This study is testing whether telling people their genetic risk for high blood pressure helps them manage it better. Researchers will enroll 300 adults aged 18-55 who already have high blood pressure and poor heart health. Half will receive their genetic risk score and counseling, while the other half gets standard care, to see if the genetic information leads to better blood pressure control and healthier habits over one year.
