Scientists phone men with cancer genes to track disease risk
NCT ID NCT07416812
Summary
This study followed men with BRCA gene mutations (which increase prostate cancer risk) and men without these mutations. Researchers called participants to ask if they had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and to update their family health history. The goal was to gather information to help create better screening programs for men at higher genetic risk.
