Can a genetic warning save your heart?

NCT ID NCT05819814

Summary

This study aims to see if telling people they have a high genetic risk for heart disease motivates them to improve their heart health. Researchers will follow 200 middle-aged adults with no current heart disease for one year. Half will be told their genetic risk score right away, while the other half will find out after the study ends, to compare changes in lifestyle and health.
