First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study will collect blood, urine, stool, voice recordings, and video from 3000 adults having planned heart surgery. Researchers want to see if combining genetic, biological, and voice markers can better predict serious complications like delirium, bleeding, kidney injury, and irregular heartbeat. The goal is to improve early detection and personalize care, but this is an observational study, not a treatment trial.
