NCT ID NCT06064890
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests a new gene therapy called AVB-101 for people with a genetic form of frontotemporal dementia (FTD-GRN). The treatment is given once, directly into the brain, to restore a missing protein and potentially slow or stop the disease. About 18 adults aged 30-75 with early-stage FTD will take part, and researchers will monitor safety and effects for 5 years.
