Scientists hunt for genetic clues to lung cancer in Non-Smokers

NCT ID NCT07273279

Summary

This study aims to understand if certain inherited gene variations are linked to a higher risk of developing lung cancer. Researchers will compare the genes of 100,000 people with and without lung cancer to see if specific patterns are more common in those who get the disease. The focus is on genes involved in processing chemicals in the body, particularly to learn more about why people who have never smoked can still get lung cancer.
