Could your genes predict your cancer survival?

NCT ID NCT07322627

Summary

This study aims to understand if a specific gene variation (ALDH2) is linked to how long patients survive after an esophageal cancer diagnosis. Researchers will analyze genetic information from 700 patients who have already been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. The goal is to see if this gene can help predict patient outcomes, not to test a new treatment.
