Your genes could help your pharmacist pick the right antidepressant

NCT ID NCT07373470

Summary

This study is testing whether using a person's genetic test results to guide antidepressant prescriptions leads to better depression control. About 220 adults starting or adjusting their antidepressant medication will be randomly assigned to either receive this personalized, pharmacist-managed care or standard care. The goal is to see if matching medication to a person's genetics improves their symptoms, reduces side effects, and helps them stick to their treatment plan.
