First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study is for people aged 65 and older with a newly diagnosed aggressive brain cancer called glioblastoma who are too frail for standard long treatments. It compares chemotherapy alone to chemotherapy plus radiation to see if the chemo-only approach works just as well with fewer side effects. About 107 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups and followed for up to 2 years.
