Summary
This study tested whether adding acupuncture at a specific point (GB34) to standard medical care could help people with mild gallbladder inflammation (acute cholecystitis). Thirty hospitalized adults received either acupuncture plus usual treatment or usual treatment alone. The goal was to see if acupuncture could reduce pain and the need for painkillers.
