NCT ID NCT06920693

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This early-stage trial tests the safety of a new drug called GB-7624 in 40 healthy adults. It is the first time this drug is being given to humans. The study gives single or multiple doses under the skin to see if it is safe and how the body processes it. If successful, it may eventually be developed as a treatment for atopic dermatitis (eczema).

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

GB-7624

What this could lead to

If safe, this could lead to a new treatment option for atopic dermatitis (eczema) that helps control the condition.

What could go wrong

This is a very early, small study in healthy people, not patients. It only tests safety and dosing, not whether it works for eczema. Many drugs fail at this stage.
