This large study is testing whether a combined screening approach—using a blood test for DNA markers plus stool tests for hidden blood and inflammation—can catch gastrointestinal cancers earlier and save lives. Researchers will randomly assign 10,000 adults aged 45–74 to either receive this screening or follow usual care, then track cancer rates and deaths over five years.
