First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding Gastrodin acupoint injections to standard treatment can improve hearing and reduce dizziness in people with sudden sensorineural hearing loss and vertigo. 100 adults with symptoms lasting 3-30 days were randomly assigned to get either standard care alone or standard care plus the injections. The main goals were to measure changes in hearing ability and dizziness-related disability. The results aim to show if this traditional Chinese medicine approach offers extra benefits.
