Summary

This study aims to prevent gastric cancer in Aboriginal people living in remote areas of Taiwan, where rates are higher than in non-Indigenous populations. Researchers will test and treat up to 50,000 adults aged 20-60 for H. pylori infection, a major cause of stomach cancer. The goal is to see if eradicating the bacteria reduces cancer cases over time.
