New chemo combo could boost survival in stomach cancer patients

Summary

This study tests whether a chemotherapy combination using oxaliplatin plus S-1 works as well as docetaxel plus S-1 for people with stage III stomach cancer who have had surgery. About 387 adults will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see which combination better prevents the cancer from coming back over three years.
