First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a mushroom supplement called Ganoderma lucidum spore powder can reduce depression in women who have had thyroid cancer surgery. Three hundred participants will take either the supplement or a placebo daily for three months. Researchers will measure changes in mood, sleep, and gut bacteria to see if the supplement works through the gut-brain connection.
