Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive brain training technique called gamma EEG neurofeedback can improve working memory in adults with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. About 104 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either real neurofeedback (learning to increase certain brain waves) or a fake version, twice a week for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure memory, brain activity, and daily living skills before, during, and after treatment.
