Summary
This study tested whether a gentle electrical current applied to the scalp (called tACS) at a specific frequency (40 Hz) could strengthen brain waves linked to memory in 30 healthy older adults aged 50-80. The goal was to see which brain areas to stimulate for the best effect, which could help future research on Alzheimer's disease. Participants performed a memory task while their brain activity was measured with EEG.
