Researchers gamify cancer prevention for teens
NCT ID NCT05984849
Summary
This study is testing whether a video game can help convince more teens and their parents to get the HPV vaccine, which prevents several types of cancer. Researchers will enroll 180 unvaccinated 11-14 year olds and their parents, with some playing the game and others receiving standard information. The main goals are to see if the game is practical to use and if it increases families' plans to get the vaccine and their actual vaccination rates.
