First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how temporary muscle pain in the leg changes the way healthy people walk. Researchers will inject a saltwater solution into leg muscles to cause short-term pain, then measure movement and muscle activity. The goal is to understand pain's effect on walking, not to treat any condition. 36 healthy adults aged 18-45 will participate.
