First seen Dec 24, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a special walking analysis and custom shoe inserts can reduce the chance of foot ulcers coming back or leading to amputation in people who have had a diabetic foot ulcer before. About 69 adults with healed foot ulcers will be followed to see if this approach lowers the number of new ulcers and amputations. The goal is to find a simple way to protect feet and avoid serious complications.
