First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether gabapentin and memantine can reduce the constant back-and-forth eye movements (nystagmus) in people with oculopalatal tremor, a condition caused by brainstem damage. Seven adults took each drug separately, and researchers measured eye movement speed and vision quality. The goal was to see if these medications could ease symptoms and improve daily life.
