NCT ID NCT05227677

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at whether using a blood test called glycated albumin (GA) to guide diabetes treatment works better than the usual HbA1c test. 200 adults newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes were split into two groups: one where doctors used GA levels to adjust medication, and another where they followed standard guidelines. The goal was to see if more patients could reach healthy blood sugar targets after 12 weeks.
