First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study follows children and teens who had a first-time blood clot in their leg or lung to understand why they may have trouble exercising or feel short of breath. Researchers will measure their oxygen use during exercise and use heart scans to look for changes. The goal is to learn more about these lasting effects, not to test a new treatment.
