New drug cocktail targets tough stomach cancers in early trial

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a new drug called futibatinib combined with two standard cancer treatments (paclitaxel and ramucirumab) for people with advanced stomach, gastroesophageal junction, or esophageal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The main goal is to find the safest dose and check for side effects. About 18 adults will take part in this study.
