First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at two different 8-week group exercise programs for women aged 65 to 75 who already exercise regularly. One program was the standard 'Strong and Steady' routine, and the other was a modified version with more functional movements. The goal was to see which program better improved balance, mobility, strength, and quality of life. 48 women took part, and the results help guide exercise recommendations for staying active and independent.
