Summary

This study follows 141 adults with atrial fibrillation and moderate-to-severe functional mitral or tricuspid valve regurgitation (leaky heart valves). Researchers will use echocardiograms, exercise tests, and blood work to identify patterns and risk factors that predict disease progression over one year. No experimental treatments are given; the goal is to better understand who worsens and why.
