Summary
This study provides families on Medi-Cal who have a child with type 2 diabetes with a prescription for free fresh fruits and vegetables. The goal is to help families eat healthier, reduce food insecurity, and improve the child's blood sugar and overall health. About 200 children will receive electronic vouchers to use at participating grocery stores.
