NCT ID NCT07667556
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a combination of special joint mobilizations, pain education, and core exercises can reduce pain and improve shoulder function in people with frozen shoulder. Thirty-six adults with the condition will be randomly assigned to either this new program or standard physical therapy for six weeks. Researchers will measure pain, range of motion, and quality of life before and after treatment.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Mulligan mobilization, pain neuroscience education, and core stabilization exercises
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a more effective non-surgical treatment plan for frozen shoulder, reducing pain and improving movement.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 36 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The intervention is complex and may not outperform standard therapy.
