Frozen shoulder breakthrough: nerve sensitivity may predict injection success
NCT ID NCT07124689
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at 87 people with frozen shoulder to see if their level of central sensitization (a condition where the nervous system is extra sensitive to pain) affected how well they responded to a shoulder injection. Participants completed a questionnaire to measure central sensitization before treatment. The goal was to understand if higher sensitivity leads to worse outcomes, which could help doctors personalize care.
