Scientists probe hidden hormone link to IVF pregnancy complications

NCT ID NCT07477340

Summary

This study aims to understand why pregnancies from frozen embryo transfers sometimes have more complications, like high blood pressure, than fresh transfers or natural pregnancies. Researchers will measure levels of a pregnancy hormone called relaxin in the blood of 60 women who become pregnant via IVF. They want to see if lower relaxin levels in certain treatment cycles explain the increased risks.
